Hello, Ameliorate!
The beta version of Ameliorate is now available with the main features being ready to use!
There are still many features in the works and even more on the horizon for Ameliorate. So let's take a look at the features currently available, the things we're focusing on now and the things we'll be adding in the future.
Live
Accounts: Personal Trainer and personal training client
Clients list (PT accounts only): clients and session management
Programs: input (PT accounts only) and review a basic program and keep records from training sessions
Logbook: log training sessions (with records) and other custom activities
Nutrition: set nutritional goals
Body composition: record and track body weight and body fat percentage and set body composition targets
In the works
Self training individual account: for those who is neither a PT nor a client but want to keep track of their own fitness journey
Program input improvements: improvements to make inputting program easier; for example, the ability to select previously inputted exercises and variations
Training sessions logging improvements: improvements that make logging training sessions more accurate and useful; for example, ability to quickly see the previous session's record to accurately progressive overload
On the horizon
PR tracking: ability to review all the personal best records from logged training sessions
Circuit and interval training: support for creating circuit and/or interval style training in programs
Individual workouts and exercises: ability to input separate workouts/exercises that are not necessarily part of a program. This can be useful for cases where you may have exercises for rehab, skill training, when you're out of town etc.
There are still many more features on the horizon for Ameliorate but to keep things on track and not get ahead of ourselves, we'll namely focus on three items at a time every update for things in the works and things on the horizon.
